Common Questions

Do I need an account?
No. Armera works fully offline with no login required. Your data never leaves your device.

How do I add a firearm?
Tap the + button on the Home tab to open the Add Firearm form. Enter the name, type, make, model, caliber, serial number, and purchase/current value. All fields except name are optional.

How do I track ammo?
Open the Ammo tab and tap + to add a lot. Enter the caliber, type (e.g. FMJ, HP), and quantity. When you log a range session, rounds are automatically deducted from the matching caliber lot.

How does the cleaning reminder work?
When adding or editing a firearm, set a "clean after X rounds" interval. After you log enough range sessions to hit that threshold, the firearm card shows a cleaning alert. Tap "Mark cleaned" in the detail view to reset the counter.

What is the Insurance Report?
The Insurance tab generates a PDF of your collection — firearm details, serial numbers, and total value — suitable for sharing with your insurance provider. This is a Premium feature.

Where is my data stored?
All data — firearms, ammo, range sessions, and photos — is stored locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to any server. Ever.

Will Armera charge a recurring subscription?
No. Armera is free for up to 3 firearms. Unlock unlimited firearms, the insurance PDF export, and cleaning reminders with a single one-time purchase (armera_lifetime). Buy it once, own it forever.

How do I restore my Premium purchase?
Open Armera, go to Settings, and tap "Unlock Armera Premium" — the paywall screen includes a Restore Purchases button.

Can I export or back up my data?
The Insurance Report PDF export is available for Premium users. For general backup, your data is included in iCloud or iTunes device backups (but is never synced or accessed by Armera servers).
