Common Questions

Do I need an account?
No. DebtZero works fully offline with no login required.

How do I add a debt?
Go to the Debts tab and tap the + button. Enter the debt name, type (credit card, student loan, auto loan, etc.), current balance, APR, and minimum payment. Optionally set a monthly due date to get payment reminders.

Where is my data stored?
Your debts, balances, payment history, and settings are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and we never connect to your bank or card.

How does the payoff plan work?
Premium unlocks the Payoff Plan tab. Choose Snowball (smallest balance first) or Avalanche (highest APR first). Adjust your extra monthly budget with the slider to see how much faster you can become debt-free and how much interest you save.

How do reminders work?
DebtZero uses local notifications on your iPhone to alert you before a payment is due. Reminder data never leaves your device.

Will DebtZero charge me a subscription?
No. DebtZero is free to add and track all your debts. Premium — which unlocks snowball/avalanche planning, your debt-free date, interest saved, and payment reminders — is a single one-time purchase, never a recurring subscription.

How do I restore Premium?
Open DebtZero, tap any Premium-locked feature to open the paywall, then tap "Restore purchases".
